It’s strange how you don’t remember a dream at all one day, and the next you could describe it in so much detail. Sometimes I get frusturated because no matter how much you describe you dream, no matter how many sketches you draw, how long you tell someone about it, they can never get the entire picture. One thing only you can experience in full effect. Yeah, they might get bits and pieces, colors and textures, feelings and sounds, but as one: they’ll never be able to see it like you do.
It’s strange how hearing just one word can trigger the dream you had from the night before. You hadn’t even thought about dreams at all, they hadn’t crossed your mind even the slightest bit that day and all of a sudden you have a dream torrenting back into your head. One word dialed you in to the dream from before. And, without that word, the dream you had might be washed away for eternity, never to reconcile with again.
It’s strange how pictures you see, people you’re with, and topics you talk about before going to sleep find their way into your dream. Whether it’s someone you had talked to for the first time in a long time, a commercial on the television, or a song you heard on the radio, think back on your dream. Who were the influential characters? What was your location? How are these things incorporated into your dream? Weird, huh?
Dreams are a mystery, no wonder few can interpret them.
Rain or Shine? What about both? I love it when it rains while the sun is shining. Today, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, it was completely blue and rain fell. It’s so ironic, contradictory, far from the norm. So invigorating.
